Pianist Dean Kramer has played for such great artists as Vladimir Horowitz, Arthur Rubinstein, Gina Bachauer and Leon Fleisher. His competition prizes include laureate honors at the International Chopin Competition in Poland; the Three Rivers Competition (Pittsburgh, PA), first prize in the first American Chopin Competition, first prize in the American Music Scholarship Competition, and first prize in the Kosciuszko Competition. He was selected by the United States Information Agency (USIA) to be an Artistic Ambassador to Malta, Hungary, Rumania and Egypt. Presently, Mr. Kramer is a member of the piano faculty at the University of Oregon.

SEPTEMBER 14, 2008 - 3:00PM The Lodge at North Rim, Bend, Oregon In 2001 Sunriver Music Festival and Central Oregon Symphony Association shared in raising money to purchase the marvelous Steinway Grand Piano that is used by both organizations in performing classical piano music. Like the rest of us—pianos, especially Steinway Grand Pianos , need exceptional year round maintenance and Tender Loving Care. Please join us in supporting the Piano Fund with your donations.
