Picking up where we left off pre-pandemic, this concert features many works and the guest artist originally intended for the May 2020 performances. The full brass section is back and is prominently featured in the music of Dimitri Shostakovich, Charles Gounod and Pyotr Tchaikovsky. Guest artist, Amy Kolb, is former COS principal oboe and Central Oregon Youth Orchestra founder. Now residing in Colorado, she is professor of oboe at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
