Spotlight Recital Fundraiser | Losses from Bend High Auditorium Demolition

  • Wille Hall 2600 Northwest College Way Bend, OR, 97703 United States (map)

The sudden demolition of Bend High School's auditorium has left the Central Oregon Symphony facing a significant loss of $10,000 in assets used for our concerts. To recover these funds and ensure we can continue bringing music to our community, we are hosting a Spotlight Recital Fundraiser on October 5th at 7 PM. Admission is free, but RSVP is required. RSVP here. We will be accepting cash donations, as well as online donations.

Be an early donor! Donate HERE.

The evening will feature a performance by Ryan Zwahlen, Principal Oboe of the Central Oregon Symphony, accompanied by Gary Ruppert on piano. Ryan has performed with world-class ensembles, including the LA Philharmonic and the San Diego Symphony, and is a dedicated educator in the Central Oregon music community. Gary brings over 45 years of experience as a classical and jazz pianist, enhancing this special performance.

This recital is both a fundraiser to help us recover from these unexpected losses and a kickoff to our upcoming season. Your support is essential in keeping the symphony’s music alive in Central Oregon. Join us for a beautiful night of music and help us rebuild!

RSVP here.
