Our season finale features pianist Alexander Tutunov, performing Sergi Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto. Residing in Ashland, OR where he serves as Professor of Piano at SOU, Tutunov maintains an active performing schedule across the globe. The COS’s tradition of commissioning new orchestral works continues with the premiere performances of a new work by Los Angeles based composer Jennifer Stevenson and the festivities conclude with Franz Liszt’s dramatic tone poem, Les Preludes.
